The challenge here still has points available. I am now opening it up to cheating--that is, Google, IMDB searches, asking people, and bribing the judge. However, they are now worth only one point. Good luck!
UPDATE THE SECOND: I've decided to offer some hints; they're in the extended entry. Still only one point each.
Movie 2: Released in May of 2004, this movie deals with the effects of the (temporary) disappearance of an entire race of people.
Movie 3: This movie is loosely based on a famous French novel. It's been turned into several movies; one of the most famous movie versions was silent. It has also been turned into a play at least twice. In fact, one of the play versions was recently made into a movie. This version also has elements of Faust added to it.
Movie 4: This is from the uncut version of one of Mystery Science Theater 3000's most popular episodes of all time. This movie has inspired a cult--granted, there are only about a half-dozen people in the cult, but they're pretty passionate about it. BTW, the female character who speaks that line says it while looking at a Playboy centerfold.
movie 2: "the day after tomorrow"
movie 3: "bedazzled"
movie 4: "mitchell"
"Mitchell" it is! One point for Rudy!
Erm is number 2 the village?
Nope. Sorry, Rob.
