Thank you so much, and an update
(Category: )

I haven't had the time to reply to all of the emails and comments yet but rest assured I am reading every one of them and every one of them is making this a little bit easier.

If anybody is in the Atlanta area I would be blessed and honored if you attended Jessie's service and our gathering afterwards.

If anybody would like to get to the Atlanta area for the services and gathering but needs help please let me know by email or commenting here. I work for a global travel company and they are being enormously helpful.

UPDATE: This works much better if I actually provide a link to the service post on her blog.

Jim, Nic and I are so very sorry to hear this. It's obvious Jessie had a terrific sense of humor--her story about the boys flushing a cup down the toilet is one of my favorite stories. If there's anything at all we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

Jim, I just heard of your terrible loss. Words alone cannot take away the pain of your loss, only time, and especially the fun and funny memories you have of your wife.

I lost my wife 11 years ago and I know of the hurt you must be feeling. At first, it hurt so much to talk about her, but the more I talked about her, recalled the funny things she said and did, the easier it got, and the more special the memories became. Hang in there, you are in my prayers and in my thoughts.

Jim I can't express how sorry I am to hear about your wife. All my thoughts are with you and your family, I can't say much more than be strong and lean on people when they are willing.
