Mmmm, Buffalo
(Category:
Cheeses of Nazareth
)
Had buffalo meatloaf for dinner tonight and it was pretty damned good.
On an unrelated note, the next time someone at work uses the phrase, “Think outside the box,” I’m going to punch them in the windpipe and no one will be able to stop me. People think they’re so cutting edge with that, when in reality, it’s like fifteen years old.
When I hear that phrase I almost can’t control myself. I will become violent.

You could just say, "Ever since seeing 'Borat', I can't take anyone seriously who says that."
That'll confuse 'em long enough to get a clean shot at their throat.
Please, for me, add to your list "At the End of the Day." Thank you.
Yeah, you think YOU hear that phrase a lot...try actually working IN A BOX FACTORY. Yes, my hands actually quiver as I hold them back from coworkers necks. Another one is "that being said", as in: "Ok, that being said, a raise is still out of the question."
I think you need brainstorm some concepts for a paradigm shift so that you and your co-workers are synergistically on the same page.
The net net is that punching them in the windpipe would not be an example of innovation and would make you part of the problem instead of part of the solution.
Just thought I would run that up the flagpole.
That's certainly a solution-based, proactive response.
Key indicators suggest I'll be whipping some ass soon at the empowerment conference and president's club retreat.
Yes, but, that being said, problems are actually opportunities in disguise. We just need to look inside ourselves and think "what can I do to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem?" The data suggests that actually choking the life out of coworkers is not common, hence, I would be "thinking outside the box." (and inside a jail cell).
Think outside the box eh? How about throwing a burning cat at them?
