Cheap and/or Free Stuff HERE!! (UPDATED: 9/25/06)
(Category: True Stories )

This is totally random, but I figured what the hey.

The Wife and I cleaned the house from top to bottom a few weekends ago. I mean, made a pile of shit to give away to goodwill and a pile of shit to throw out. You know, cleared out the garbage and used the created space to organize those things which we've actually used in the past year or so.

However, we ended up with a small pile of things that we felt would be stupid to bring to The Salvation Army, but equally stupid to just chuck in the trash. If you're interested in more details of the following objects, or seeing photos of them; just email me.

If any of the four people who read this blog actually take any of this stuff off my hands, I'll come back and update to avoid confusion. I'm not listing any prices because it's totally negotiable (and by that I mean, all the way down to $0); though I'd expect the buyer to pay shipping. Actually, there's only one item with a price tag.

Buy My Stuff!
(2) 12inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofers. Barely used, single voice coil, 8 ohms. Perfect for home use, could also be used in a car. Buy one or both.

(2) Tennis rackets, in cases(CLAIMED). One's a Spalding, the other's a Head. Seriously, I didn't even know we owned them; we've never played tennis. Ever.

An entire wardrobe of snow gear from my days as a snowboard instructor. Several jacket shells(One with a torn cuff), two pair of snow pants(good shape), two pair of mittens (both in kinda bad shape; probably best used for working), hats, two pair of goggles (yellow lens and orange lens), two pair of snowboard boots (size 12-13.5ish). Most of this stuff I'd let go for shipping costs. I don't live near snow anymore and looking at it in my closet just makes me miss the mountains.

(2) Snowboards. One is a Vision 158, inch-long gash on one rail. Super flexible, good for screwing around in the spring on mush and staircases. The other's a House 156. Great shape, medium stiffness; carves well for a short board. Both come with bindings, but the bindings on both boards max out at about a size 13 boot. The bindings on the House have toe ramps.

Yakima Roof Racks (48inch bars, lock cores) and accessories. All of these items are in excellent shape except for the Copper Head bike rack. I lost the nut off the quick release and just bought one from a hardware store; works fine.
Kayak Stackers
Powder Hound *With Lock Cores*
Copper Head*With Lock Core*
Stretch Kit*With Lock Cores*
Faring
I also have Q-clip numbers 63, 64, and 85. The clips are specific to a few vehicles, so check with Yakima to make sure they fit yours, if interested. I'd like to get a little dough for each of these items(except the clips) since this represents a small fortune in racks and accessories, but I'm willing to let them go at half price or less just to get them gone.
*Lock Cores just means each one of these items comes with the appropriate locks. If you wanted the locks, I could send you the keys, or the key code so you could have Yakima send you new keys/locks.

(1) The Wife. 25 y/o, size 6, financially independant. Thinks she knows everything. Yours for $10,000; but you can return her within 30 days for half your money back.

Man I'd like to help you out and take The Wife off our hands but I couldn't imagine taking orders from two women.

I wonder what type of trade in value the old lady has?

See, and I don't even know what her size is exactly, so I could totally be falsely advertising. Man, I need to get my shit together.
