GreenZap is ready to pounce
(Category:

)
GreenZap, the alternative to PayPal, is set to launch on June 1. I think this is just too cool. I'm all about better capitalism through competition and until now PayPal was all alone in the ball park.
If you sign up for an account now you'll get a starting balance of $25. If you sign up through the link above I'll get a $5 signing bonus. There's no mention of if/when the $25 new account thing will go away but I expect it will shrink down to $5 or so at or around the launch. I'd much rather you get $25 than $5 so sign up now!

Playing Devil's adovcate here, but what good is $25 if I can't use it anywhere? I gues sI'm basically asking, who's accepting greenzap right now?
Same as PayPal, you can use it to pay anybody who accepts it. It won't take long for eBay sellers to start accepting it, especially since it has a better transfer charge for most sales.
And I'll definitely accept GreenZap donations so at the very worst you can buy me a couple of beers. ;-)
Since I have your address (hehehehe) why don't I just show up some random weekend and buy you some beers then?
Sounds good. Stovepipe Porter and Fat Tire are two of my favorites and not available locally. Major points for either of those.
Easy as pie....I send you 25 and you send me 25.That way we both got money to spend for real instead of leaving it where it is.hehe
